I think this would best be answered by a blind person, but I'll give it a shot anyways.
Sure blind people dream, but they will view their dream the same way they view the real world.
If they were blind at birth, then I would imagine that dreams are without pictures.
If blindness came later in life, as time goes by, their unconscious mind would focus less and less on the seeing world and their dreams would get less visual over time.

This is surely an interesting question. But rationally, i think blind people can dream. The reason is people don't use eyes to dream. The brain does all the dreaming stuff. But as others has said, they dream about the things they experience before in touch, hearing and feelings.Sometimes they even see images in their minds, mainly because brains are creative. For example, if we had never seen a certain particular object, and we wish to see it, our brain in some ways create the image in our mind. That why, even blind people can make sculptors and draw amazing portraits and drawings.

Of course blind people dream, they are blind not dead, I am sure they see in their dreams. Can you make a mental image of something after closing your eyes, or reading. They do the same thing!

of course they do see their dreams and some of them are happy since they have the chance to see in their dreams. That maybe the reason why they love to sleep a lot....

thezaylad is correct. If they have ever had sight, then they have visual pathways and memory; otherwise, if they are blind from birth, those neural connections are never made, and they dream in the same way they experience their life.

All people dream, they may not remember their dream, but you dream, there are 5 stages of sleep..( REM) Dream is the last stage of sleep. so, no you don't have to be a sighted person to dream. info: (Encyclopedia Of Medicine)
