My cat Percy is lost...he got out of the gate in front of my house and now I have been looking for him for hours and no luck. He is really a pretty cat so I think maybe someone snagged him up. Otherwise he should have been home by now. He got out once before but came right back. They can be so sneaky sometimes, seems there was something he wanted to go do or find, last time he came back but this time he didn't. I have been crying all night. Dear God please bring him home! Will you pray for my kitty? I love him sooo very much!

Dearest Heavenly Father,
You know where Percy the cat has gone to. Please send one of your guardian angels to whisper in his ear that its time to go home. Let the angel lead Percy home through safe paths. Grant that Percy's human mama will have cause for rejoicing soon when she sees Percy with his tail perpendicular, meowing for his bowl of tuna. In Jesus' name. Amen

Yes, I will definitely pray for your kitty! I've lost my kitties before too. I would do as other people have said and put up posters with a picture of him on it. If you really want him back write on the posters that you will give a reward, but I would not put how much the reward is. I've also heard that if you put on the poster that the cat needs their medicines or has a medical problem, they will be more of a chance that they return your cat because they most likely won't want to pay the bills to take care of the cat. But hopefully he will just show up on his own. If he isn't neutered, he's probably out just trying to find him a "lady". If that's the case he will be back pretty soon. Good luck and your kitty will be in my prayers! If you haven't already, definitely check at the pound! Someone might have thought he was a stray.

oh, i'm sure he will come back! i doubt anyone took him. cats are not as easy to take. he isn't likely very far away. here are some suggestions for places to look:

*is it cold there? if so, check the neighbor's garages or any place warm

*leave food outside for him so he will be enticed to come back when hungry

*ride around your neighborhood on bicycle and ask neighbors if they've seen him

*this is a big one...if he's used to being inside, he may have climbed up a tree and had difficulty getting back down. if he is in a tree, he's probably nearby. walk outside when it is quiet and call his name. you may hear a meow

*make sure he actually got out the front gate. i had a cat that was hiding out in the garage for the longest time. we thought she was somewhere else

i have had many pets over the years, so i know how horrible it is when they get lost! but don't worry! i'm sure you will find him soon! cats are very smart creatures. he's probably just having fun exploring.

Of course I will pray!! I lost my kitty for 20 days one time....looked all over, went to the animal shelters, and the spca. Had just about given up, when one day about a half mile from my house, I saw him. He came right to me and was happy as can be.....still had his collar and bell on too. So don't get discouraged. And you pray too.....I love my kitties so I know how you must be feeling.

Sounds like if you do get him back he needs to be kept inside. At least if a cat is stolen someone should be looking after it if they went to the trouble to steal it in the first place. Otherwise he is probably yet another victim of a road accident, although some people try on purpose to hit cats they see running across the road. This is exactly why I have indoor only cats.

cheer up!

cats are really curious animals and they want to sneak at about anything. as far as yr cat is concerned , he must have gone for , say lunch or dinner and will soon return home until Gog forbid something has happened to him.u can go on looking for him, and call him by name if u previously did because cats are quick to respond. I pray it comes back safe? and plz don't keep yr gates
opened!!!

He's probably out having the time of his life catching mice and rats and birds. He will come back.

Haven't you ever heard the song? "The cat came back, he wouldn't go away. The cat came back, we thought he was a goner but The cat came back..."

Cats do that, which is how we got ours when it was tiny, it was having adventures in our garden chasing moths and decided he preferred it to where its real owners live. We gave the cat back several times before the owners gave it up for good.

how long have you had the cat(probably not long) cats wander off all the time(espically if it's growing up) sometimes it takes a few days for it to come back but he'll come back when he gets hungry.I'll pray for your cat
