My wedding was in April 2004 and my colors were sage green, silverand white. Any color will look nice in April but pastel colors would look good. What are some colors you like? Here's a few color combos and links to view for ideas.

Since it is in Spring a variety of spring themes and colors might be very pleasant. All you have to do is figure out what you look best in which colors by holding them all up to you then dressing the brides maids and the place in these colors to complement your skin tones along with add these into your gown as blossoms and in your boquet. Since it is an all about me day then make it all about you that day. Who cares what the bridesmaids look good in. Pastels usually work on most people or combinations. One of the prettiest weddings I ever attended was in a City garden where the flower girls were dressed in dresses that looked like little roses in the area that had no flowers and the bridesmaids were dressed so they looked like flowers along with the bride. It was very simple but very beautiful as she selected the area of the big garden park where it was just very green without the flower gardens to be married at.
I would figure out what color looks best on me and do a range of colors in this range in pastels or close to it to compliment it.

I agree with d.plates.
I had black, white and red for my wedding last October. The colours looked great together!
I wore a gorgeous red gown, and my groom, goomsmen, and bridesmaids all wore black and white. The girls carried red roses, and i had white. I had a white carpet for the ceremony, with red petals. Reception was white table cloths with black runners with red rose petals scattered along, and in bowls with floating candles.

I'm sure whatever colours you choose will look gorgeous!
Have a fun time organising everything!!

since April can be a very muddy month in some places i would be careful not to use to many browns(it'll already be every where) try using a couple of bright vibrant colors, but make sure they're colors that you absolutely adore because you'll see them every time you watch the video or look at the pictures.

CONGATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Color wheels definitely help! You can choose your favorite color/or his...a cute idea is where you went on your first date. (Fancy restaurante..or even a coffee shop) and have some meaning behind the colors you chose.

i went to one wedding everything was pink and black, that was kind of different and worked nicely!

do not do peach and teal...i thought i was going to be sick at that wedding!!!

personally i am hoping to do a pale/soft green and white at mine
- i think the more simple the colors, the better

good luck!!

Blue and silver look great! You have to use wite flowers instead of silver though unless you are willing to spend money on the dipping. That's what my brother and sister in law did (minus the dipping). I thought it was beautiful!
