Me and my brother are wondering, we are trying to figure this out, and if there is any prayers in the holy bible that have to do with exorcism.

I think Satan can kill a servant of the Lord, but everything is in God's control. God will allow Satan to kill a servant of God's, and God has His reasons why.

It says in Jude 9 ( don't know if I need to write Jude 1 cuz it only has one chapter)

"Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil, he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee."

So this verse might mean that we as humans are not match for the devil, even though it says in another verse, "Greater is He that is in you than he than he that is in the world."

Also, to another question you had, just one verse to why reading the Bible makes you feel good:

Do you know this verse...??

Thy word is a l...... in psalms,

wHAT, if anything, is happening with you and your brother and exorcism??

Yes. Through sickness, through attacks by those in his control, through attacks by his demons.

But, a Christian does not need to fear death, so sickness and physical attacks only allow him to share in Christ's suffering and to join their Lord. Demonic attacks can be reduced to nothing provided a person is submitted to God. Then a demonic attack is like fried egg on teflon. If the Christian allows his faith to drop by listening to the devils lies, then seeds of doubt and despair can be sown, which can lead to death. Sometimes by suicide, This shows the importance of "walking in the Spirit," in other words, always keeping your thoughts on God and what He wants.

Exorcism can be performed by any Holy Spirit filled Christian with apostolic ministry, deliverence ministry, some healing gifts and the gift of miracles. Care must be taken, however, because a manifesting demon can be very alarming. Exorcism should not be performed by anyone who has not been prepared by an experienced person.

I was exorcised November 5th 1978

Well, first of all, Satan does not exist... he is a mythical creature... so he can't kill anybody. Secondly, 'the Lord' does not exist, either... he is mythical, too. Therefore, 'the Lord' does not HAVE any servants... there are just a whole bunch of deluded people running around THINKING they are servants of the mythical, imaginary, nonexistent 'Lord'. Cripes... you sound like you're discussing a Harry Potter book. Who are you actually referring to... god, or Lord Voldemort? (There's really no difference, you know. Well... maybe... a little bit... Voldemort is a lot more interesting and entertaining.)

You and your brother would be a lot better off trying how to be rational, and employ critical thinking, rather than quibbling about the myths, superstitions, fairy tales and fantastical delusions of a tribe of ignorant Bronze Age fishermen and peripatetic goat herders. Get your head out of the 'Wholly Babble', and get a life.

In ancient Jewish tradition Satan is simply an angel doing the work that God assigned to Satan to do.

The word Satan means challenger. With the idea of Satan challenging us, or tempting if you will. This description sees Satan as the angel who is the embodiment of man's challenges. This idea of Satan works closely with God as an integral part of Gods plan for us. His job is to make choosing good over evil enough of a challenge so that it becomes clear to us that there can be only one meaningful or logical choice.

Contrast this to Christianity, which sees Satan as God's opponent. In Jewish thought, the idea that there exists anything capable of setting itself up as God's opponent would be considered polytheistic or setting up the devil to be an equally powerful polarity to god or a demigod.

Oddly, proof for The Christian satan/devil mythology is supposedly found in the ancient Jewish texts that were borrowed to create the bible. One can’t help but wonder how Christians came up with such a fantastically different interpretation of Gods assistant Satan in their theology.

Other hints about Satan’s role in human relations can be seen if you look at the name Lucifer. It meaning in the original tongue translates as Light bearer or light bringer. Essentially the bringer of enlightenment. The temptations of the Satan idea bring all of us eventually into Gods light. Hardly the Evil entity of Christian mythology.
