I often tell secrets and say shocking things when i'm hyper and regret it later but I don't know if this is normal and maybe some form of subconscious attention seeking or something..
I can't help it though, it happens every now and then and it feels like being drunk, like my inhibitions are lowered. I'm hyper I just want to constantly speak, and by that I mean non-stop. There are other things I do that I think are indicative or some kind of mania but I am particularily interested if you think the secret telling thing could be caused by it. Is it a sign? What else could it be?

I'm really worried about the next time it happens because I honestly wouldn't say these things otherwise. I don't want to say them but it just comes out.

I had a friend who was bi-polar, and yes they would say/do blab anything when in a manic episode. They almost acted like they were high, and thought they were just genious, and invincible. My friend described it as a feeling that she could conquer the world, take on any challenge. She would also talk fast, and almost non-stop, and frequently just say som bizarre things, like it was good to get attention that way. It was sad, because afterwards, partly because of the depression part, she would just feel really regretful and humilated at what she had said and done. People would think she was funny at first, but after awhile they'd get freaked out by her behavior, and just be really mean about it. It wasn't her fault, and if you have bipolar, it's not yours either. It's a chemical imbalance in the brain, and in that way it IS like being high. When the chemicals shift to be low, then you get the depressive cycle, hence manic-depressive. If you're not being treated for bipolar already, talk to your doctor and express the concern that you think you have manic episodes. If you're being treated for depression, they may need to adjust your meds, (antidepressants can sometimes cause mania). DO NOT quit taking any meds, just talk to your doctor about possibly switching/adding/adjusting the ones your on. If you're not being treated for anything, you also need to discuss your suspicion you might have manic-depression, or bipolar with your doctor. You could even have a form of rapid cycling bipolar, and never get full blown mania. But whatever the case, in these hyper episodes, you do things you don't want, and you can get treatment so you don't have to feel so out of control of your own life. I suggest that you do have symptoms of mania, and it probably does cause the secret telling, but you should always talk to your doctor before accepting Yahoo answers as stone cold fact.

Your buddy is a drug trader and it does not trouble you. If the police officers quit you even as you're riding him someplace and uncover medicinal drugs, bye bye auto. And probably your freedom. What could grandmother feel if you're arrested for dealing medicinal drugs? And if you're within the auto while a deal is going dangerous, you could emerge as lifeless. 18 12 months ancient Indiana tuition scholar watching to shop for heroin obtained shot five occasions & died in downtown Cincinnati over the weekend. Think approximately it. Confide to your mother and father so they may be able to get Ms. Perfect support. They will must uncover a remedy software earlier than they confront her. The hubby could have a situation, too. They would possibly not be completely happy approximately your drug trader buddy. Her conduct is that of a average addict. Grandmother's property will cross up her nostril.

I have experienced the same thing. One one hand I'm in the background silently gasping and thinking, "What am I saying?!" On the other hand I'm actually babbling about anything to anyone who will listen. These times almost indicate some sort of mania in me.
