Last night I went to the store, and and encounterd a man who asked directions to a hospital, I told him how to get there, he seemed upset, said something about a doctor telling thim to get there right away. A few moments later, a worker came out of the store, said she was looking for this man. I asked her why, and she stated he had just told her he was going to kill himself. We became concerned and went to find him, half way into the parking lot, out of no where, I began to cry. I knew (or at least thought I knew) he was already dead. He was not found, but the police were called and we gave them all the info we knew. But I feel that he is gone, Am I just too easily open to the suggestion, Or did I really know? Should I look into it for Conformation? Or just let it go?

you are feeling partially responsible, as though you had a moment where you could have stopped this (potential) fate. but please don't agonise over it. you are experiencing a "sixth sense".

You will not know until you hear if he is dead or alive. Probably you are just open to suggestion. It usually takes longer than that for someone to mention suicide to others and then do it unless of course they have a gun or something and do it right there, which leaves no doubt. If he talked to you, walked off and then a clerk from within the store came out, he would be very close if he was already dead and the authorities would have found him.
If he was asking where the hospital is, he is wanting help. Usually when people are asking for help they are not wanting to die, just kill the pain. Not always though.
I just say lighten up unless you hear that he is dead and was dead at the time of your feelings. Funny thing about feelings, they are very often deceptive.
Most suicides say nothing, they just do it.

Well I'd say to even consider the choice "psychic" you'd have to know if he's dead or not. Since you don't yet, "psychic" is out of the question. But "psychotic" is kinda harsh, but I think I have a word just for you: emotional. Girl, I know it's good to care about other people and all that but don't worry about it too much because as you see it can get pretty scary and worrisome like that. Now that you reported to the police, which is good but only needed to be done in extreme cases only, you should follow up on it so you don't lose your sleep over this man.

Your perception may well be correct or it could be that you have percieved something in the area that gives you this idea,
Either way you are definitely not psychotic. We all have the potential to percieve or know things in this way but lack certainty about this ability, or can become confused about what exactly we are percieving.
I would suggest you look into it and find out for sure, either way, since you have this much attention on it. This would be much better than doubting your own sanity !

I think most people experience some precognition like that about big things at times. Something like a person thinking strongly suicidal thoughts can certainly project outwards, too. I wouldn't assume either option; it's just something that happens to many at times, and is pretty normal.

You just care about people, I'd like to say that's normal but it's not. You have a long life ahead of you and bad things happen just try to enjoy your life you can't help everyone.

I wouldn't worry about it too much, you've likely just convinced yourself of what you felt was a foregone conclusion. To paraphrase noted skeptic Michael Shermer, "Smart people are very good at convincing themselves of irrational beliefs for unsmart reasons." Don't take offense at this... this applies to everyone, even me. :-)

Neither psychic nor psychotic... just foolish. It seems to me that he must have changed his mind about killing himself, since he asked you for directions to the hospital. The police are on it. Relax.

You believe you are psychic
If you look into the situation and your suspicion turns out to be true you will use it as confirmation of your psychic abilities.
If not you will wait until you dream of a plane crash.
