Absolutely anything
kids that age enjoy anything if you are spending time with them and enjoying it.
take them for a walk, make it fun, get them to help map readin, count things, anything theres a hundred and one things to do with kids while walkin the countryside, it might make them appreicate their surrounding also. it doesnt have to be a long walk, with the prospect of ice-cream at the end you'll be surpirised how far they can walk, even at 3!

Take then for hikes.
Take them to the Dr Who museum in Cardiff Bay
There's also a water park in Port Talbot.

How about taking them to the beach, I know its getting colder now, but my daughters love going on the beach in macs and wellies and finding pretty stones and shells.
If you aren't near the beach how about a nature walk. We have even done this in the rain, then while they are in the bath the things dry off and they can make a collage out of them.
