The tactics employed by most mainstream Muslims seems to have a lot in common with the Nazi party's policies.

They both hate everyone who's not on their side.
They both think they are wholly right, and everyone else should convert to their faith.
They both use fear and scare tactics to get their way, and intimidate anyone who speaks out against them into silence.
And perhaps most of all, they both hate the Jews.

Am I wrong? I don't think so. I think Islam is a growing problem in our community. It really needs to be dealt with. We can't be forced or intimidated into silence by such a small section of society, simply beacuse they can't see outside their own highly dangerous and indoctrinated culture.

The short answer: Are you wrong? Yes

I would just like to point out that your supporting points are all too vague and general, with the exception of hating the Jews. That is their closest link at best. This seems to be an affect of region rather than doctrine or some cultural attitude. Some people dont like the Jewish state, since its in 'their land'. Those people happen to be Muslim. All the other points apply to a wide range of organizations, as it has been already pointed out. To an extent, it applies even to our own government (trying to convert everyone to democracy).

Linking Islam to Nazi-ism sounds like an attempt to demonize them with something we are already dispose and are familiar with. Quite unfair, especially since this definitely does not describe Islam as a whole, but a particular subset of people from that community.

Final semi-random point. Islam (not really the whole, but their fundamentalist sects) is doing their holy war thing now, as the Christians did in the crusades roughly 800 years ago. Just to give the thing a more historical perspective. Make of it what you will.

Well, first off, it doesn't seem like you've done your research. Ever heard of extremists? You probably have, but like most non-muslims, who think the Islamic society is a so-called "problem," you really don't give much thought to it. More than 90% of the Muslim population DOESN'T beleive in all the car bombings or the terrorist attacks of 9/11 as the solution to any problem. It's just some of them that think it. And, yes, the Islamic population is growing, only because people have been exposed to its priorities and its honest ways. I'm so sorry that you have a problem with people doing the right thing by converting. And we Muslims don't force our faith onto you. We just let you know that this religion is out there and maybe, if you'd like, you can learn about it.

Why would you think like this, it is not Islam that is bad it is the people that make it bad, you should not blame the religion, by the way look at christian ain't the doing the same, in Ireland for example, that do not make Christianity bad. People use religion for wrong reasons. Islam is not a growing problem, it is people like you that make it a growing problem, they don't hate Jews the Jews is entering their land, they just defend what is theirs, what make you think Christianity is so innocent. I am a christian, and just maybe if people like you study the Islam religion then you will realise that what they teach is very similar to what Christianity teach and I can assure you that the majority of Islam do not seek pain or suffering just as much as what we do. They also want to live in harmony. I live in extreme Muslin dominated areas and we have learnt to respect each other, and I can tell you that some Muslin is by far better people than most so called Christians. Remarks like yours is the reason why they retaliate.

I think the problem is mainly your mind. You probably need to explore the world more (yes there is a whole world out there), meet more people especially Muslims before you make such statements.

The Qur'an says 'let there be no compulsion in religion'. So Muslims who force others to converts obviously don't know the Qur'an very well therefore they are not very good representatives of Islam.

You cannot say Muslims use fear to get their way. Terrorists do so, not Muslims in general.

Muslims do not hate Jews. Muslims are very against Zionism, not Judaism and I know for a fact that not ALL Jews support the Israeli govt. So you cannot say "Muslims hate Jews". That is an inaccurate statement.

For your information mainstream muslims aren't the one's you see on television. A child sex offender isn't a mainstream Christian or Cahtolic. Radical people who are on the news usually aren't considered the mainstream of their faith because their doing something wrong.

Mainstream muslims love everyone equally as their brothers and sisters, that means everyone with a faith. Muslims just try to avoid the atheist for they promote the belief in no devine.

Mainstream muslims think they are right just they way every single faith on this earth does. What faith likes thinking they are wrong? you have no point here, every religion would like converts. unfourtanatlly( for you) somehow islam is on the verge of becoming the second largest religion in the United States, its already the second largest in the world.

mainstream muslims beleive in interfaith intra faith alliance and unity. How in the world can you get converts with scare tactics? that is the lamest dumbest technique in the world. Would you want to convert to a religon if they scare you? Mainstream muslims establish themselves and when asked about islam they respond. but thats it. A muslim has absoloutly no control over the conversion of another human being. thats up the person him self.

Muslims hate jews? thats another stero typical mislead most people have. To this day mainstream muslims don't have a single reason to hate the Jewish community. Once again, they believe in unity under One God. And respect all man kind.

Thats mainstream muslims. Not the radical who commit sin without realization. and will suffer for it.

Judging from the first 7 lines of your question, I'd think you were talking about Republicans, many of whom proclaim to be Christian. I think there is a small radical and dangerous minority in Islam, just like in any religion including Christianity. But it is not fair to condemn an entire religion because all Muslims don't fall into lockstep with the dangerous few. Just like all Christians don't fall in lockstep with all other Christians. Christians practice many different interpretations of the Bible and it may be the same for Muslims. Set your prejudices aside and try to learn as much as you can about Islam before you condemn it outright.

With the exception of your last point, you've also described Fundamentalist Christianity and the American Religious Right. Islam isn't the problem... it's Fundamentalist Religion in general.
