Collard greens are vegetables that are members of the cabbage family, but are also close relatives to kale. Although they are available year-round they are at their best from January through April.

The turnip (Brassica rapa var. rapa) is a root vegetable commonly grown in temperate climates worldwide for its white, bulbous taproot. Small, tender varieties are grown for human consumption, while larger varieties are grown as feed for livestock. Turnips are notably popular in Europe, particularly in its colder parts, because they grow well in cold climates and can be stored for several months after harvest. Turnip greens are the stems eaten as vegatables

they all come from different plants. Turnips, mustard used for the seeds but you can also eat the foliage and collards I don't know. Usually with turnips you wait until you harvest the tubers and also keep the leaves. Mustard is kind of spicy, turnip is real cabbagy and collards are tough and musky.

Turnip greens are the leaves of the turnip plant.

Collard is a plant all by itself, in the cabbage family.
