The answer is different for everybody. It depends on the state of your liver, if you have and blood clotting problems, etc.

I hope you are not asking to find out how much to intentionally take. If you follow the dosage guidelines on the bottle and are a relatively healthy person, you should be fine.

If that amount of aspirin is not taking care of your pain well enough, I would talk to a doctor to help discover the source of your pain. It might be something to be concerned about. Either way, you do not need to live in pain and there are stonger methods of pain management if you need it and a doctor thinks it is appropriate in your situation.

Read the bottle and it will say, for a normal person. One caution with asprin is it is also used as a blood thinner, that is why people is heart conditions take 1 a day to thin out their blood just a little so the heart doesn't have to work so hard. One sign of a possible problem after taking asprin is bruising alot easyer than normal and alot of them. Asprin should be used very carfully. If you want to take it just for pain or a headache try one of the other OTC pain releivers, none of the other ones can thin the blood.

For adults a maximum of 4000 mg per day, spread over at least 4 doses of at most 1000 mg.

For adults a maximum of 4000 mg per day, spread over at least 4 doses of at MOST 1000 mg. For children over 12 years old a maximum of 2000 mg, spread over at least 4 doses of at MOST 500 mg, with at least 4 hours between doses.

plz avoid asprin as much as possible . only if u are serious then take it . i used to take asprin for any and everything . now im immune to it .
