Unfortunately we live in a very materialistic society. Think about it... we're constantly bombarded by advertisements... we have brand names shoved in our faces from early childhood (think McDonald's toys at Wal-Mart!). Our televisions are full of the rich and famous in their palacial estates, their Escalades with 22" rims, and $10,000 grills. Why wouldn't we be materialistic? We're constantly being told that we need something. We're constantly being told that we're not good enough to be famous. But that's okay, that's what VISA is for! Go ahead, buy that plasma TV!
I'm agnostic, but sometimes I envy the Amish.... their lifestyle is so simple and graceful.

There are two ways of looking at this question.....if you are wealthy in a material way.....people who aren't equally wealthy will judge you. If you are lacking of material possessions, people who have them....will judge you.
It doesn't matter what "stuff" you own or don't own.....someone will pass judgement.

MY SISTERS HUSBAND TOLD MY YOUNG DAUGHTER. THAT WE WERE NOT GOOD CHRISTIANS, BECAUSE WE WERE NOT RICH.
MY DAUGHTER WAS NOT UPSET-SHE TOLD HIM HER PARENTS BUILD UP TREASURES IN HEAVEN.GOD WAS THE BANKER.
BUT STILL I HATE TO SEE PEOPLE THING,
MONEY IS A RULER FOR ANYTHING.
PEOPLE WHO HAVE THINGS AS THERE GOD-WILL BURN WITH THEM.
