Dinner cruise with dancing. Horseback riding and a picnic. Paintball war. Theme park.
Train ride to the city to a museum or the theatre. Campfire on the beach huddled together in a warm blanket. Get a hotel room with a jacuzzi tub for the weekend so you can order room service and stay inside and pamper each other. Take a drive along the coast and just talk, listen to music and enjoy the scenery and most of all....enjoy each other.
Have fun!

in todays fast paced world where most couples both work, many feel the need to infuse their lives with activity. why not slow down, relax at home, have dinner ordered in, and talk to each other....perhaps being married for such a short time, you could spend a quiet evening discussing hopes, dreams, goals, even where you want to be in 5, 10 years from now...couples today spend so little time getting to know each other, that by the time they have been married for a few years they discover they have nothing in common anymore...and save the special anniversaries for the big night out. the first year you love everything about each other, the 2nd you learn to live with each others annoying habits, the 3rd is time to decide whether you can stand those habits for the long term, the 4th is the time for being comfortable with each other, the 5th is when you learn you can do things separately and still be in love, the rest of the years are for enjoying each others growth. how do i know this? i married young LOL and i just recently celebrated 30 th anniversary

Go out for a nice dinner at some place you went to while dating. Go bowling. Have a lot of sex...
If you need outside help for an idea how to spend a fun day, you're just not trying hard enough!

rent a hotel room at a local 5-star hotel and spend the weekend being as creative as you can be. Remember there are some great costumes out this time of year.

Going to a romantic movie after a nice romantic dinner sounds like a good idea. If you have children...get a sitter.
