Be careful about believing pop-medical opinions found on the Web. I just did a quick review of PubMed, a database of peer-reviewed medical literature, and found no evidence of bad neurological effects of coffee/caffeine, accept dependence, which, while uncomfortable if you can't get your fix, is not harmful.
