I don't know guys...
I think some men cheat -- JUST BECAUSE.
- JUST BECAUSE...they want their cake and eat it too.
- JUST BECAUSE...they don't want to have to say goodbye to someone they think they feel very strongly about.
- JUST BECAUSE....lust has temporarily taken over their brains...and so they don't think it's valid to end something with someone else that they had a real connection with.
- JUST BECAUSE...they can actually get away with it! And if they get caught...it's not that big of a deal...because, meanwhile, they've already been developing a strong relationship with someone else.

There could be lots of reasons. Assuming that Halle Berry was a "perfect woman" is a wrong assumption. There are 3 common reasons why men cheat:
1. The woman they are with does not meet his needs.
2. He's an azzhole
3. He really believes that there is nothing wrong with cheating, but you would never ever get him to admit that. So he hides it and sneaks around like a ninja.
I don't condone cheating because it's better to just break up and move on. A lot of men cheat because they don't have the balls to break up.
My 2 cents,
Rod

Well because the guy is not the type who only sticks to the one woman who seems perfect that he meets. Some couple stay faithful because they both are the type who value loyalty. I'd say a lot of guys (not all) cheat because they don't feel the relationship has to be exclusive. Maybe they still love their girls but they got tempted for a moment. Girls who think that their guys should focus their attention on them only should get with guys that think the same way. As long as the guy loves the girl and takes amazing care of her in an obvious manner then cheating is probably because he got seduced LOL. But if he changes his attitude toward the girl then it's time they break up because maybe he is not for her.

Tell me if this makes sense, because it doesn't even make sense to me...guys are afraid of being with beautiful women. And as far as perfection, maybe he is looking for someone who can make a mistake and not be such a high standard to aspire to, and may be afraid to look bad in her eyes. As to why he would cheat on her, there is an exercise in stupidity right there.
It would also depend on your definition of "perfect'. There is no such thing. You can get as close as you possibly can, but the only human being I have ever heard of that fit that bill was Job, and he could not even hold a candle to Jesus, who was the most perfect being that ever existed.
Cheating is wrong, no matter who does it. If you have a good woman, or a good man, regardless of looks, and you step outside the relationship for grass on the other side of the fence that can fade away and die just like the grass on your side, what is the benefit?

Cheating is usually an indicator of how terrible the actual relationship is going.
For example, we don't know how Halle Berry's relationship was with her man, she could of been ignoring him, they could of had some fights, they could of feel out of love with eachother...who knows. If daddy isn't feeling the love at home, he'll find it elsewhere, even if it's with a less than attractive woman.

Well, there is never any excuse for cheating on someone. It doesn't really matter if the person you are with is smart or dumb, attractive or not. If you are not happy with the person you are with then leave them. Once you have severed ties, then you are free to look around and see who you want.
That said, many people are insecure about themselves. Maybe they don't feel they are worthy of the person they are with. Maybe they really want someone with less money and more out of the public eye because they don't want to deal with the other persons fame. And there are people attracted to unatractive people.

Now I have had the opposite. I have been cheated on myself. So it can go both ways. I think that it is discusting, but it is not just men. I would never cheat on anyone and never have, and would think it to be shameful and completely against all of my ethics as a person to do so. I do wish that people were not this way, but I know that as long as people put themselves above others and are only out to gratify theirselves, this will continue. Hopefully people can start going against the crowd.

lol,Theres no such thing as a perfect women. How often do you think Halley Berry slept with that guy, my guess is hardly. That's why actors and actresses make horrible spouses, at least the really famous ones. you know the ones to busy promoting themselves to spend time with there significant others.

As a guy, I have no idea. I am personally, a one-woman-man. But, you are talking about the "rich and famous" pompous a**holes though when you speak of Halle Berry and all........

for guys, cheating is about whats best for them at that point, usually cheating from a guy's point of view comprises absolutly no emotional feelings but a minute attraction. for women it seems, usually, that there is an emotional connection and feeling amid the appearance, it is not just about the aesthetics
