bro, I feel you. I lost my hair when I was about 18, and I know how much it sucks....
however....
It's not as bad as you might feel. Honestly, I finally shaved my head, and you know what? I get more attention from women now than I did when I had hair. Bald is more acceptable (and maybe sexier) than it has ever been in history. Whatever you do, don't try to pull a combover or anything like that. Just shave it, you might be surprised at how good you look.
You can't change nature, but you can make it work to your advantage. Go for it, and good luck. Believe me, I've been right where you are and it isn't so bad in the end. Trust me.

There are many factors that can attribute to hair recession or massive hair fall and you need to find out which one exactly is responsible for the problem you are having now. Of course male pattern baldness is still the most common cause, but, for instance, if you are a woman things are deinitely different! This is the reason why you will need to really dig down and see the source of your problem.
Other causes of hair loss may include (both in men and women): severe mental or emotional stress, excessive use of coloring or bleaching agents, traction alopecia or excessive strain on the scalp due to braiding or corn rowing, hormonal changes, alopecia areata or hair loss due to autoimmune diseases, and many more. Each of these conditions will require a different approach in order to achieve success regardless of whether you're going to be using conventional or natural methods.
In my opinion it's much better to use natural methods as opposed to conventional ones, they're cheaper, have less to no side effects, and often more effective.
A good way of regaining your full head of healthy natural hair is well described on this guide: http://hairagain.toptips.org

I feel for you hon. My husband started balding in his late teens and going gray in his early 20s. by the time I met him at 29 he was about 25% bald and 25% gray and freaking out about it. I thought he was the handsomest man I ever saw.
He tried rogaine, thought about hair plugs. Rogaine didn't work on him. One of the guys at work had plugs, it was so obvious, another guy did the wig thing, ick. (we worked together)
Now he just keeps what little hair he has left buzzed super short (all gray), and shaves in the middle. (he has an island of hair right in the middle, no hair around it, and then hair on the sides and back) I still think he is the most handsome man, 16 years later.
It is hell being a teen, no matter what you look like. Looking back I could kick myself for all the time and energy I wasted being so self-conscious. My trauma was acne.
My advice is if your family has good medical coverage, then see a dermatologist and follow their treatment plan for 6 months to a year. If no insurance, then you need to accept the cards you were dealt and focus on your strengths.
And finally, here is a website for teens that I have found useful for my nieces and nephew. With a specific reference to hairloss.

well dont feel like your alone on this, its very common.i know i cant relate to this because i am a girl and i am not going bald but i do have 3 older brothers 20,22,and24 years old and all of them have that problem there solution??they shave there heads bald and they really dont look bad at all,and on the days there hair is growing in and they dont feel like shaving? they wear a hat, also here is a good tip if you do shave your head and its really pale put self tanner on it it wont look bad,and dont ever go get hair plugs or any of that dumb crap you will look weird -that stuff is noticeable and it looks retarded, and you can blame your mom if you want, because your hair genes come from your mothers father. oh by the way i am 19 and getting gray hairs and there noticeable, lifes not perfect, i will probably be all gray before i am 30.

poor kid. :( that really sucks... i've heard of it before but it's supposed to be rare, so i never gave it much thought... must be hard for you.
there are worse things though.. trust me. when i was fourteen i fought with acne and although it was a mild case, to me it was soooo bad i just wanted to die. but eventually i did find a cure for it, and so will you for your problem.
dont let this get to you- you're still a human being, you're still a boy, you're still as good as anyone else. just be thankful that youre not blind, or you dont have snake scales all over your body or something. it could definately be worse, but i cant even imagine having this problem. i have thick hair thanks to my irish italian descent and i'm grateful for it, as i'm sure you must have positive attributes as well. whether it be your eyes or your smile, there are other things good about you.
as long as you maintain a positive attitude and try to overcome this obstacle- you should be fine. dont take this as rude but have you explored hair growth options such as rogaine? if not, you should. i'm sure there's something out there that can help you.
just try to focus on other things and remedy the problem to the best of your ability. it's all you can do to try- you've unfortunately been dealt this card, but you can work through it.
good luck kiddo.

Premature balding is not rare. Over-the- counter hair preporations work, but they are expensive. Get used to it until you can afford to make a hair restoration change.
