Yes it would be legal.

It would be no different than naming your child "Princess". I've known quite a few Princesses in my life. It's a word. The government (those deciding what is legal and what is not -- I'm talking US anyways) has no more control over this, as they would be if you wanted to name your child "Soap" or "Lollipop".

I heard about a guy that got his name legally changed to God. Not sure you you could name a kid that upfront, but it is possible to change ones name to God.

it's legal to name your child turd crap or whatever your heart desirdes.
ask the people that named their child after some medicnes like tylenol, massingil etc.
