Place a rooster in the south of your desk...avoid a bedroom in the sout east. How do you work out what is the South/South East ? Comprative to what ? Surely it depends on where you put the compass. Please help.. i am probably making thngs worse by wrong positioning ...

this is in fengshui:
get the blueprint/ house plan of your house, then locate the center of the house. in a square or rectangular house, this by making 2 diagonal line and the intersecting dot is the center. then use the compass accordingly. direcitons in fengshui mean the directions in relation to the center of the house. one more thing, it is a bad thing to doubt yourself in making a fengshui audit; if you're not sure, then why not just hire a professional fengshui auditor.

First of all, the compass will always point north, wherever you are.
Second, if a bedroom is in the south east, then, avoid putting the rooster near there.
Your desk should be able to face the doorway, but still have positive energy towards the room.
Place the rooster at the south of your desk and you are done.
I have a feng shui book called...well, I forgot. but I read it and learned lots.
