I'm looking to spend up tp 300 dollars on a welder. either miller or lincoln, stick arc welder. if you have ANY product reviews and such and could post them that would be swell.

You should be able to find a good used Miller Thunderbolt AC/DC for under $300. They are good for light duty stick welding, and I do a lot of Tig welding with mine. Do not waste your money on any AC only machines!!!!!

You will not get much for $300 but if it is a hobby machine check the local stores for a brand name. I have been a welder for 35yr and have used and liked both and have owned 2 millers. But for that money looked for a good used machine you may get more for your money

The higher the duty cycle; the longer you can weld with it in a continuous bead. And so the cost varies according to that.
