I'd like to see rock-n-roll removed from the devils array of tools list - and dancing too.
How can dancing and a type of music be bad?
oh, how about this:
I'd like to hear people NOT complain about the holidays being commercialized. Over and over and over, we get it, we know! So refocus and have FUN! Be religious or not, but stop pooping on each other.
This is it: from Oct 5 to Jan 07 - the special time of year, to refocus on getting along.
Something like 95 days - would be wonderful NOT to hear complaining. We are all having a time - lets share it and make each others happier.
Ha, one last thing: Halloween is NOT satanic! It's for kids under 12 - who don't know nothing unless a parent put it in their little head. So keep the stranger adults away from your kids and everything will be fine. Candy for everyone! Amen! (The teens will take care of the adults that are troublesome, I'm sure.) What a time!

Sorry, That's probably too much for one prayer...

I think that we should pray/ask the Deities for/hope for our lives to be happy, our children to be happy and healthy and never hungry or scared, our chosen careers to be sucessful (or if they're not, to find the career that will make us happy AND sucessful), to have good people to become friends with wherever we go (I know as a military member, that one's pretty important since we move so much), and for someone we love or feel sympathy for to get over any physical or mental/emotional problems they may be having (hopefully, with our personal support as well).

As a realist, I realize that the Deities can't do everything and that much of what I have just written above is actually in our hands. I think it's just nice if things can get a little nudge every once in a while.

If they are not Christian or Jews, they are wasting their time, even if it is a good prayer, God only answers prayers to His own. Unless they are begging for help and forgiveness, then they have God's attention. God wants fellowship with His children not just a bag of goodies, we must have faith and salvation in place. Jews are exempt, because they are the apple of God's eye.

The GOD that I believe in answers everyones prayers not just of believers.He will attend to the matter of virtue and sins on the day of ressurection.You see,God might punish us ,be angry with us but He never Abandons us just because we have abandoned the true Faith.

If I prayed, it would be for the pain of my significant other to be lessened--he just came out of chemo not too long ago and now has lupus as a result, and lives in constant pain.

Deep Peace of the running wave to you;

Deep Peace of the quite Earth to you;
Deep Peace of the shining stars to you;

Well I'd pray for evil things, so I guess I'm not invited.

Is it asking too much simply to try to respect other humans? Why must we beg imaginary beings for aid?
