Have you, or do you know someone that may formed a very close bond with somone else that was already in relationship (not a marriage) where "you" (generally speaking) and the person already in the relationship have so much in common, and natural chemistry, and yall end up sleeping together and that person leaves their mate to be with you?
Do you know of any "happily ever after" endings to that kind of situation?
I know someone who is in this situatuion where the guy left his lady for her, and they ended up married in like 6 months to a year. According to them, they felt they were "soul mates".
IMO it seems rare that a situation like that could work out so well for people.
What are your views on it?

Yes... My Mom and Dad. My dad left his first wife for my mom. 35 years and 5 kids later they still love each other. They had only one argument my whole life.

If you cheat on your partner and leave for another man or woman, how secure can the new partner feel?, after all if you left your wife you can leave your girlfriend
If I cheat on my wife to be with a new girlfriend how certain will the new girlfriend be that I will be faithful to her? And if a girl was willing to break anothers marriage for her own benefit how can you be certain she won't break her new relationship when it suits her?

My bf left his wife for me. I was in the middle of my third divorce and this was also his third marriage. We did, however, date when I was 15 (we are now 38 and 41). We have been together now for almost three years and sometimes think of how things could have been had our parents not forced us to break up so long ago. I don't always condone people leaving their spouses, but everyones situation is different, like mine.

I'm in a situation like that and most days regret ever leaving. What we had wasn't always fire, and it was definately a struggle, but it was always stable and calm. Now I'm still with the man I left for, and it's a constant storm. It's actually more like an almost two year hurricane, so far. But, I can't undo, so I'm trying to make do.

It's hard to say for sure whether a relationship will end "just" because they started out as cheaters. Many relationships break up anyway, for various reasons, so I think it would be hard to blame it on that one point.

well, i was in a situation like this, but i was on the other side. my boyfriend of almost two years left me for some other girl. he stayed with her for about 20 days. then, he came back to me. he said it was the biggest mistake of his life and he realized he wants to spend the rest of his life with me. i do believe in soulmates and in my case, my boyfriend and i are soulmates. that is why we found our way back to each other. in your friend's case, it could be different. they could end up together forever. but, in my opinion, the guy never really gets over his ex if he left her for another woman. it's hard to do that to someone. but it really depends on the situation. i wish your friend good luck though.

When people get together like that, the relationships don't last long. Sounds like they really rushed into that.
