errr... it's an old-fashioned town so if a baby is born out of wedlock, the father has to leave town. Meanwhile, the town doesn't have a preacher to marry people, so everyone is single.

Its not an ideal situation and leaving a dog outside all day and night mainly unattended is taking a big risk with their safety. Also they may start barking to be let inside the house if that is what they are used to. Do not leave food out as they will just eat the lot at once and this could cause them upset stomachs. Someone needs to come and check on the dogs at least 3-4 times a day and to feed them properly and make sure everything is ok. (Also to clean up their poop droppings). They could also be stolen if word gets about that you have left them without proper supervision. Surely the best thing to do is put your dogs in boarding kennels for a couple of days and go away knowing they are in safe hands? Jmo. Obviously leaving them alone at home is worrying you a bit or you would not be asking strangers on the internet for their opinions on this issue!!!
