GAVE A 30 DAY WRITTEN NOTICE AND PAYED UP ON ALL MONIES OWED. WHILE TRYING TO RENT IN ANOTHER STATE, IT SHOWS UP ON MY CREDIT AS AN EVICTION WITH A BALANCE DUE. I HAVE COPIES AND RECEIPTS. HOW SHOULD I PROCEED.

Well, there are a few ways that you can accomplish this - but I am a bit confused. An eviction notice is usually posted when you are still residing in a residency to get you out. So I'm not sure why you would think they filed one after you had already left, unless you didn't inform them that you were leaving and left items in the house or apartment. I would say that the easiest way to find out what is going on is to contact the landlord who you were renting from. They would be able to tell you what is going on.

An eviction notice is not a criminal situation so if you have moved from said residence and no longer live in the state then you should not worry whether or not one was filed. That is not meant to sound smart-assed or arrogant, but seriously, it is not a problem so you should not worry about it.
