Great question!
Perhaps this will help clarify...
"May your fountain be blessed, and may you rejoice in the wife of your youth. A loving doe, a graceful dear - may her breasts satisfy you always, may you ever be captivated by her love" - Proverb 5:19
Or how about this:
"How beautiful you are and how pleasing, O love, with your delights! Your stature is like that of the palm, and your breasts like clusters of fruit. I said, 'I will climb the palm tree; I will take hold of its fruit.' May your breasts be like the clusters of the vine, the fragrance of your breath like apples, and your mouth like the best wine. May the wine go straight to my lover, flowing gently over lips and teeth." - Song of Solomon 7:6-9
Or how about this:
"...my breasts are like towers. Thus I have become in his eyes like one bringing contentment." -Song of Solomon 8:10
...and, of course, there is the nurturing and comforting purpose, as well:
"...and breasts that I might be nursed...." -Job 3:12
"For you will nurse and be satisfied at her comforting breasts..." Isaiah 66:11
=
So, it seems the Lord gave women boobs to nurture and comfort their children AND to satisfy, delight, please, and bring contentment to their captivated husbands!
All, of course, symbolic of the Lord Himself, who nurtures, comforts, satisfies, delights, pleases, and brings contentment to His children!
Grace and peace!

Not a real deep thinker huh?
They are for breastfeeding, but the fact that men also find them attractive further aids in the propagation of the species. Quite brilliant of God when you think about it, to make them dual purpose.
And ... mammals do have mammary glands year round. It is the distribution of body fat that is different in various mammals. Even in the human being some women have larger breasts and since the breast is mostly fat, those women tend to carry more fat in that area, than small breasted women.

The distribution of fat on a womans body is all about deception. As women lose weight, the three areas that are last to go have implications about fertility.
It remains on the hips, creating the illusion of a larger pelvis, better for birthing.
It remains on the belly, concealing possible pregnancy. This coupled with concealed fertility is a grand deception.
It remains in the breasts, concealing growth due to pregnancy.
In modern societies, it has taken on more significance. Of course, in the broadest context, fat is no longer seen as attractive and a sign of health.

Human breasts are the delivery system for milk, period. Most mammals have nipples and breast-like structures, but on four legs, they hang much differently than on humans.
It is men, specifically, who have made breasts into some sort of status symbol... bigger and softer is better... but the baby doesn't care at all.
Their main purpose is for nourishing our young. Period.

The mammals (Mamalia) are the class of vertebrate animals characterized by the presence of mammary glands, which in females produce milk for the nourishment of young; the presence of hair or fur; specialized teeth; the presence of a neocortex region in the brain; and endothermic or "warm-blooded" bodies. The brain regulates endothermic and circulatory systems, including a four-chambered heart. Mammals encompass some 5,500 species (including Humans), distributed in about 1,200 genera, 152 families and up to 46 orders, though this varies with the classification scheme.
Phylogenetically, Mammalia is defined as all descendants of the most recent common ancestor of monotremes (e.g., echidnas and platypuses) and therian mammals (marsupials and placentals).

Psalm 139 says we are `wonderfully made`. (v14) and Solomon mentions breasts and other parts of the female anatomy in the Song of Songs (4:5,7:3,8:8) I believe sexuality is a wonderful gift from God, but we humans have corrupted it.

females's breasts are technically a secondary intercourse organ. that could have something to do with it. yet at one factor in time, exhibiting ankles replace into seen sexual. So issues replace; boob-exhibiting could take somewhat longer. that's basically that that's in easy terms one in each and every of those issues, a tiny inequality between adult ladies and men that comes up now and back. there is extremely no clarification for it, and that i desire it have been criminal. i for my area like being topless and that i will in easy terms do it in my residence. :(

As a means to feed their children with until they can eat harder foods. They are not sexual objects in themselves . just one of the markers to tell the difference between male and female.they are called teats in animals and they are there year round. Can see your city bred.
Ps .just where do you think your glass of milk comes form . Cows teats for the most part . Unless you are allergic to it then Goats milk. formula is a manmade product not used in ancient times.

I don't know WHAT they are FOR. I know they work, in attracting men. BTW, can you really tell me that you are attracted to a person EXCLUSIVELY for who they are? Do you not experience any sort of physical attraction? If so, you might want to see a shrink.
Obviously, the most important aspect of a person is not the physical aspect. But you cannot seriously claim looks are totally irrelevant...

Considering the Bible is quite clear about a virtuous woman being a MODEST woman, I hardly think God gave us breasts to "attract" a husband. We aren't suppose to be showing these things off until AFTER we are married anyway.
So that means that God gave us breasts to share with our husbands (meaning, after our "I do's"!) and of course to share with our children, (In a different way).
