No withcraft isn't wrong, and the KJV is a bad choice of translations to read, he was seriously anti-feminist and changed words to suit his meaning.. for example this site shows that the word Witch isn't a witch in the sense that we all know

Read something other than the bible if you are curious about Witchcraft.

1 Samuel 15:23 (KJV) "For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft..."

Deuteronomy 18:14 (NAS) "For those nations, which you will dispossess, listen to those who practice witchcraft and to diviners, but as for you, the Lord your God has not allowed you to do so."

Deuteronomy 18:10-11 (NIV) Let no one be found among you... who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, or cast spells, or who is a medium or spiritist.

Well, the obvious answer would be the first commandment: You shall have no other gods before me. (Exodus 20:3) Witchcraft is a pagan (or neopagan) religion -- called "Wicca" by its adherents -- which generally worships both a God and Goddess, or a group of Gods.

Wiccan theology is not rigidly codified and varies widely from person to person, but in no case do they worship the Jewish or Christian God.

1Sa 15:23 For rebellion [is as] the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness [is as] iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from [being] king.

This scripture says that witchcraft is a sin.

2Ch 33:6 And he caused his children to pass through the fire in the valley of the son of Hinnom: also he observed times, and used enchantments, and used witchcraft, and dealt with a familiar spirit, and with wizards: he wrought much evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Gal 5:20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,

Exd 22:18 Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live. (Exd 20:13 You shouldn't kill)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Deu 18:10 There shall not be found among you [any one] that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, [or] that useth divination, [or] an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch,

There are other scriptures also that deal with this subject. Some may not be as specific.

God wants to be the one that changes things. Witchcraft uses control. God wants to be in control. When we access the spiritual realm any other way but through God, it is wrong.

If you are questioning it, leave it alone. Many come to practice their rituals and spells, and all those things open up the gates of hell, they come like an angel of "light" but they are ravening wolves. Satan deceives them into thinking that it is for good purposes, but it is all a lie from hell. Be careful what you are meddling with. Read the scriptures mentioned above. God Bless you!

iirc the verses would be:

Exodus 22:17,

Levidicus 19:26, 31,
Deuteronomy 18:10-12

though personally I think these verses were all meant to be specifically against using these things for negative purposes, or with alliegance to someone/thing other than God himself.

Why do you people have to make such a fuss over it? We aren't harming you or anyone else, we don't sacrifice anything, or worship the Devil. You really should research the subject before you condemn it.
