I always do. It feels a lot better after. People talk about infectiion, but WHAT'S THEIR SOURCE OF INFORMATION? You pierce a piece of dead skin and let some saltwater out. So what?

You can yes. You don't have to, but most people would prefer to. The reality is that as long as you use something sterile to open the blister (you only need a small puncture) and remove all of the fluid, you can do it. You should definitely use a triple antibiotic ointment after it is opened to decrease the chances of infection. Keep it covered and remove the reason for the blister in the first place. The reason for blisters is to protect the body by providing fluid to an area with increased friction. They are not crucial and so it is not bad to release them.

Some say yes some say no. If you popit, make sure you clean the needle with peroxide and possibly put peroxide on the open blister to prevent staph infection. Whatever you do, DON'T put lotion or cream on it until it is totally healed. You risk infecting the blister.

Absolutly NOT! If you pop the blister you are just inviting bacteria into the open area and that would cause infection. When the skin dies it will burst on its on.

yes...but heres how you should do it....kay....get a thick needle..than make a hole in the blister....on the side maybe....drain the water from the blister...DO NOT PULL THE SKIN OFF OF THE BLISTER....keep the skin on and cover it with a band aid or some kind of cloth.....rub moisturiser on the blister daily and wash it clean!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You don't have to pop it. In fact if it's not bothering you it's best not as popping it would increase the likelihood of infection. If it's bothering you and you need to pop it (eg in order to get shoes on or get on with normal daily activities), make sure you use a sterile needle and keep it clean afterwards.

No Put moist heat on it several times a day. when in bed or out & about put Benadryl on it & cover with gauze & tape. your body produces a healing agent in the blister & by opening it it is subjected to infection.

You can, because if you don't it will end up popping anyways, especially if its on the inside of your hand.
