My husband's back has been bothering him for two days now. We have tried Tylenol #1, Robaxisal, a heating pad, and the cream ice rubs. He is in alot of pain and won't go to the hospital right now cause it will be atleast a 8hr wait since it's a long weekend in Canada [Thanksgiving]. It is not an injury that is cause the pain. We think it's a muscle. Any suggestions will be helpful. Thanks.

Ice, lots of ice.
In the future, he will need to include some exercises to stretch and strengthen the lower back. A healthy back begins with strong abs.
