I know a good hearted man that has turned evil because of drug use. I pray for him daily, for something to happen to open his eyes and bring back the kind loving person he used to be. Could you please pray also, maybe tell me how to pray better?

Lord, we come before you tonight to ask you to heal this man of his drug problem. Jesus, you said when two or more are gathered in your name, you are in the midst. You also said that what we bind on earth will be bound in heaven. In the name of Jesus Christ, we bind satan from lying to this man and making him desire things that will harm him. Jesus, please speak to his heart and lead him out of a life of destruction and into your light. Father, please give this man the courage to walk away from drugs and seek that which is clean, pure, holy and righteous. Please lift him up and help him find the truth, the life and the way that is Jesus Christ alone. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

P.S. KB...one of the most powerful weapons we have is the word of God. Use it in your prayers. God bless you.

Praying is a good gesture. And our almighty creator loves it.

His/her pray would be more significant who did good job in his daily life. And doing good job is also major part of pray.

In a day how long we spent our time in offering ceremonial prayer? Hardly it’s 10%? Rest 90% we do all other job. If we able to keep good sign in all our work that is great pray. And the almighty accept that pray who do good work always.

Bless your heart, I will pray for you & the one you are concerned with.Just pray from your heart. It doesn't have to be a beautiful eloquent prayer, it just has to be honest and with love. The Lord will answer your request. It may not be as quick as you want and it may not be the answer you want, but HE will always answer.

I don't know if you're Catholic or not, but here's a link to a site that I believe would help. But you don't have to follow that form if you don't feel inclined to do so. I truly believe that God will answer any heartfelt prayer, without regard to form or style. So, don't worry if you think your prayers aren't good enough. (Romans 8: 26-27) Just keep it up. I know that your friend must choose to change, but still, keep praying for him. I know that many others will do likewise after reading this.
God bless.

I agree with the people above. Just keep praying and have faith and that's equally as important as praying. Have faith that the Lord will help you and answer your prayers. Never give up! There is always hope!

i had this friend of mine suddenly went bad.... i kept on praying for more than 9 months.... and my prayers were answered.... I'm only 17 but God answered me... Prayer is the simplest form of speech.... there is no better way to pray to God than to be direct and to keep it short.... Keep on praying I'll pray on this side too... don't loose faith pls don't cause sometimes it takes time to answer because it's not the right time.... keep up the Faith and Always Remember SMILE FOR JESUS..... God Bless you....

there is no way to 'pray better' because God already knows what you want, since he knows everything. He may not answer your prayers immediately, but i will definately pray for that man.

I just want to tell you not to be discouraged. God hears you and he does things in his own time. Our time is not his! So don't worry about your friend, I am sure your prayers are just fine...just make sure you let God know you will go along with whatever his will is, Jesus said what you ask for in my name I will do. It may take more time than you are willing to spare, but just remeber God has done it before and he will CERTAINLY do it again!!! I'll be praying.

"Prayer to" i will understand yet "prayer for" is something previous me through fact I could have theory that Saints do no longer want any prayers for them through fact they're immediately linked to God and don't desire our intercession. Have an spectacular Day.
