I have a friend whose a Christian, and I really need some advice on converting him to Atheism. Does anyone have any ideas?

Now Christians how do you feel reading the above question? I am tired of seeing questuions on this site asking for advice on how to convert people to Christianity, now I don't really need any advice on converting anyone. I asked this question to get your attention and show you how frustrating it is to read something like this. It's like praying for someone who specifically asked not to be prayed for. I don't believe I've ever seen a more audacious group of people in my life.

Make sure he doesn`t really study science or search for truth, just have faith in a vague kind of evolutionism without questioning that if his brain is the result of random chemical reactions why he should trust it? Keep him away from mountains, the sea, rivers, animals, sunsets, flowers or anything beautiful that might get him to question the entirely random nature of things.Keep him away from the Bible, Christians, history books, any great art or literature or classical music and above all get him to shut out that quiet inner voice of conscience with noise and trivia. That might just do it but be warned people have been converted to Christianity through dreams so maybe you should stop him sleeping as well...?

Why should you worry so much about what others think? if you don't want to convert! good for you. Live your life as you see fit for you, and let others live as it is right for them. If someone tries to converting, it will only prove how strong or not you are!

How is your feeling when you hear that Muslims want to convert the whole world to Islam? does that upset you as well? having someone wanting you to submit to their God and Islam?

All religion have some purpose and points, just as yours does. Others want you believe in higher power, whereas you want others not to believe in higher power! do you see the similarity?
You are no different than anyone else who wants others to believe in what they believe to be the truth. With that. Live and Let Live. Be Atheist is you wish, and let others believe in a God or Gods, or whatever they wish if that makes them a better person, what is the harm. Hopefully more good will come out of it, than harm. When you have strong beliefs, without prejudice against others, that will bring out the good in you, no matter what you believe in.

Live and Let Live

Having a relationship with God is like having a 6th sense. The reason you believe there is no God is because you have never had an encounter with him. God is a spirit being and trying to understand that without getting in the spirit realm is like trying to sniff with your eyes or hear with your mouth. I tell you what, and all you atheists reading this: because you believe that God does not exist, and if you aren't scared to do it, ask God if he exists, ask him if he's real, ask him to show you a sign, or to let you know what His touch feels like. If you say this, and honestly believe what you are saying, but do not get any response, then go ahead and conclude there is no god.

My tale is long, like others, yet i replaced right into a stable Christian in the experience i replaced right into a pupil of the Bible and that i examined or tried what replaced into proposed by making use of the Bible. My experience led me to a profound disillusion with the religion. the generic Christian in Asia, Africa, and the US I dealt with exhibited an outlook, a thought they lived with that eradicated the secret of creation. i think of as a youthful guy that replaced into too lots and not sufficient to hold me. So I booked (left the Church)! Now that may not all together genuine i replaced into thrown out of a mega church and informed to not come decrease back to others using fact of my large force to locate the intensity of the religion, the powers of Christ and the training. i theory being a Christian meant to be Christ like and packed with the secret and that theory on my own branded me as an atheist by making use of the Christians I encountered. I don’t unavoidably fall into your classification yet I enjoyed the different reads lots i prefer to throw my little element in the aggregate. .

I dont think you can convert anyone whether it be from atheism to christianity or from christianity to atheism...its like the old saying...you can lead the horse to water but you cant make him drink it...and i see what you are saying about reading a question like this. i guess its just the nature of people to make others believe in what they believe in themselves.

I don't think it frustrates Christians. You see, Christians are used to atheists always trying to convert them. They get it on the news, in movies, popular culture, even textbooks they have to read. They are also prone to be converted to atheism by their own sinful natures. In short, they're used to it. Your statement probably bothers none of them. Just so you know.

Because they actually believe that book, the bible, these people really believe that they are saving souls. I would so appreciate it, if I do not have to see the word hell written for 24 hours. There is no hell.

Yes, how audacious. To pray for a person who will go to hell unless they turn to Christ. Jesus told me to pray for those who do evil. And I am praying, right now.
