Actually I just started my 11 yr old son on it with 100% reccommendation from his pediatrician. We did the pill thing for over 5 yrs, and that really gets old...the patch is a little tricky, but in two days I had already seen great changes in my son. We were instructed by the pediatrician to place the patch on 2hrs BEFORE he would arrive at school(it takes 2 hrs for the transdermal to kick in), so I get up at 5:30am, place it on his hip while he's sleeping and go on with my normal day. At 2:30pm he takes it off. The Daytrana patch should be removed in 9 hours...I will NOT lie...he has accidentally left it on for 10-11 hrs, but had no problems sleeping from it as they suggest could happen. The pediatrician ALSO gave us the FREE 40 day trial card...the Daytrana comes in boxes of 10...so until you find the correct doseage, WalMart pharmacy will allow you to break up the 40 doses into increments of 10, until the correct doseage has been established. Make sure after you place the patch on and after it is taken off WASH YOUR HANDS!!! It is transdermal, and can be transferred to food, etc...if you do not wash your hands.
So far...I love Daytrana, but like with any medication, it is a give and take issue, you will have to try it patiently and see how it works. My son's school os also aware that he is on it, and that he must remove it before getting on the bus to come home, so having them aware helps us all keep his doseages at the correct level and time frame. He told me he can tell a difference with it, and feels more focused than before..so it must be working!!!

Good luck!!!

yeah ive heard of the adhd patch i forgot what it used to be known as too. however i dont feel theres so much change among the patch and the capsule due to the fact that i learn approximately the patch aspect efects they usually werent so much specific then the capsule the progress stunt factor im lovely certain remains to be facet of the patch too despite the fact that. additionally until they made multiple patch then the adhd patch is just for kids 12 and more youthful so in case your older than that i dont feel you'll be able to get it. im certain they will make one for older humans too quickly. and probably it's going to have much less aspect results. well good fortune :) plus relying on how lengthy youve been at the meds probably you will have to simply check out going with out them interval. probably you dont want them anymore :)
