it's not werid for a 21yr old to like a 16yr old. keep in mind that the 16yr old is still a child, this is coming from a 18 yr old. i was in the same boat when i was 16. give her time to become aware of who she is and let her get in touch with her feelings. she really has not been in the world long enough to know what love really is and who she should talk to. she may tell u she is ready, but if you care about her you would give her time. some parents are ok with it, but if they are not u can go to jail for that. either way i would just let it wait until she is older and better understands herself and others feelings. because i know, i was like that when i was 16 and now i am 18. if u need anymore answers find me. when she is older she might change her mind and want to live life a little more freely and if u don't want to get stuck with a broken heart, let her be free with a broken heart.

Well if u think that is weird My Best Friend In The Whole Entire World is only 17 and the guy she is dating is 40 now i say wait 1 more year or something and ask her because 5 years apart is better then 23 years apart!!!

First of all honey it's not weird to like a 16yr old when your 21yr old. It's also great that you are going to wait till they turn 18yr old, that's really good of you. If you've ever watched Maury Povich (I think I spelt that right) or Ricky Lake, there are people that are like 77 going out with people half their age! so don't worry!

Depends on what you define like. As a friend it is OK. As a lover it is illegal in some states. Better wait until he or she is 18. Unless of course you like prison.

no not really if it s the guy thats older but if it's a gal older than the boy YES IT"S VERY WEIRD just what until she's old enough.I don't think it's wrong IF u treat her right an REALLY love her!! all tho my brother is 21 and married to a 15 year old it's not the age diiference it's her i don't like!!!

i have friends (24 and 17 *almost 18* that are dating...)
so.. no... its only 5 years... but i strongly suggest that you wait until they are 18 to make a move...

It's not only weird, in most states it's illegal if you act upon it. Surely you can find someone closer to your own age to like.
