god i hate women like that, so selfish of them, as well as guys, i dont really like to hang out with people like that, seriously, you'll get a girl no matter what you look like if you think like that, as long as you dont think that way about women, seriously, you sound like a catch, go get em tiger.

Those that will only go with someone because of their looks or for the money are shallow and you are truly better off without someone like that. They probably think that if they are with some-
one that looks good then people will notice them more and they
think they will be more popular. The important things to look for in someone to me is: good personality, friendly, caring, honest,
someone that has kindness in their heart and is a giving person
and by that I mean, if you were to see someone reach out to someone that was in need no matter what the need. It could be
an elderly person that needed help getting his/her groceries in.
Someone that does simple acts of kindness because they are a
good person and not because they want praise or compensation
for the good deed they have done. Good luck finding that good
person they are out there, but these days it is hard to find them.

I tried going for guys based on personality and honesty and loyalty. Lots of the guys were not as loyal and honest as I believed. Now I figure I should have just gone for the rich ones because I would have at least got something out of it. I prefer women anyway so it's doubtful that I will date a guy again even if he is good-looking, rich and a terrific guy.

Some women are shallow like that - and incidentally, looks are generally more important to men than to women. However, ALL women go for guys who give them that certain emotional "rush". I don't look for money at all, but yes, looks are important to a certain extent at my age. (I am 20.) It carries much less value in future and when we're older as people grow to become less shallow and focus on the internal. I'd say it's part of a maturing process.
Right now, I'd say looks account for 35%-40% for me, while personality accounts for 60-65%% because face it, we are bestial by nature. Attraction is necessary in a romantic relationship and necessary for sex.

I go for honesty and personality. Looks are a plus and money matters definitely come last. As long as the person makes an honest living is what should matter.
