Well dont be mean to the guy. Its gonna make things worse. ive kind of been there, I wasnt obsessed but I was affraid that somehow I was but thing is you dont wanna hurt the man see a person is really vulnorable at that time. Perhaps a closer conversation would help. Help him get his feelings out and have him say that he will get over them.

Is he obsessed in a negative, stalker-ish way? If so, you need to let him know that it makes you uncomfortable, and if you're friends maybe you should keep some distance for a while. If that still doesn't work, warn him that you'll have to call in the police.

you must know the answer. but here's a question are you stringing him along? you might be passive agressive. you "might" like the attention of this guy wanting you. if you truly dont like this unwanted attention you KNOW what to do, any woman who is in a committed loving relationship would know what to do. the fact you dont means you aren't in a committed loving relationship and you are probably enjoying the attention of this "obsessive" admirer to some tiny degree. clue as to what to do: you come out with no shame, no excuses and no apologies and tell him to leave you alone...you can do this without cussing and betlittleing him. but yet it needs to be done harshly and matter of fact like. but IF your stringing him along, you cant do that. because then you'll alienate him, possibly offend him and you will risk losing his undying attention. and you have to ask yourself, why don't you want to be down right honest with him, even if it hurts him?? is it because you dont want to make him angry with you, then he might actually move on!?! there is NOTHING, wrong with saying,"you make me uncomforable, truly uncomfortable and i think it's very sad you claim to like me but you never consider i dont like this attention. and i'm loyal to my man, and if you continue to flirt, make passes or just be obvious about your feelings i will have no choice but to make sure we are never ever in the same vicinity whatsoever." now see? you dont have to call him a loser, or cuss him out, you only have to be open, honest and dead serious. that is of course if you're dead serious.

damn, Ive been that guy before. You need to tell him what you feel. Make sure he understands that he has no chance, dont worry about hurting his feelings. for me the girl actually liked me, but gave me the cold shoulder cause she was afraid of what her friends thought. i chased her but it got old really quick. maybe the same will happen for you.

Ignore him, unless he's stalking you. Then you need to get a restraining order and call the police every time you see him coming near you.

Be nice but knowing how he feels you need to be careful not to do things that he might mistake for feelings you have for him. Make sure you don't use him and take advantage of his feelings for you. Encourage him to meet other girls.
