I have been praying very hard about this but I feel as if i need some help. My unborn babys father is very far into an addiction of cocaine and drinking right now I am not in direct contact with him at this time because of his lifestyle but he needs help. He has pushed so many people out of his life because we were standing in the way of his addiction, he is on a downward spiral. I just ask that you pray for God to come in his life and take Satan out. Help him get back on the right track open his eyes to his life. It is very hurtful to watch someone you love ruining their life and not knowing it.

He isn't my boyfriend and he denies he has a problem.

If your church doesn't have a Tough Love, Codependency, or Families anonymous meeting, check out the phone book for things like Narcotics Anonymous and the other meetings I mentioned. When you speak to them, ask about Naranon and other meetings in your area.

The reason you should go is because drug addiction is a family problem. It is not just the problem of the person attacked by addiction. You may also want to find a good counselor to help you and the father's family do an intervention on him.

I have a loved one who has stopped using drugs after 30 years. I know lots of other people who have stopped using including myself. God loves everyone the same.

Do not give up. Be encouraged. Prayer does change things. I am a witness of that!

I will continue to pray for you and your family.

God, right now I pray for the father of shane m's baby. Lord You know that there are so many children that do not have a father and we know that You said you would be a father to the fatherless but You also made a father to be with his children and care for them.

I am asking you to work this miracle for this baby's sake Lord. Give this mom peace in her heart to accept the things she cannot change. Give her wisdom to know the difference between the things she can change and the things she can't. Give her strength and courage to change those things that she can change.

I ask that You lead her in the direction of a recovery program for herself and her family. Help her to learn Tough Love.

Help this father's loved ones do an intervention for him so that he will get into a recovery program.

I also ask that you send more praying people into the lives of this family.

I ask that you send angels to protect the mom and her child. Give them hope and deliverance.

I pray these things in the name of Jesus.
Amen.

You are in my prayers! You are doing the right thing. You have found the best solution. Our prayers are very powerful tool. I command you for not giving up on this man. May God bless you, your unborn baby & the father of your child.

I have been thinking about this, and You need to get him to a professional therapist. And please do not explain how a man NOT your bf (as you casually put it) is the father of your unborn child. As I would like to believe, and never know is that you are far away from him, safe at a college, and getting medical check ups, etc.
I know - blah blah blah - but too much info is a call for people to help YOU not this man.
PLEASE TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF FIRST.
PLEASE remember GOD helps those that help themselves. Seriously protect your child.

I will be praying for you, your child and the father...but I think you need more help than just prayer...Not that I doubt God can handle it....But we have rehab programs for just that kind of thing.....I think...and maybe that is why we have them....because that is an answer to prayer....

I have a brother that is doing the same thing. He has been to prison twice for drugs and still will not leave them alone. I finially decided that I had to let him go until he wants to help himself. You can't make them want to change, you just have to wait and pray that something happens to make them see the light before it is to late. Try to let go, until he is ready for help, and remember prayer works. It may not happen when we want it to but it will happen when God wants it to. Trust me, he's does things on his time schedule not ours. My prayers are with you. God Bless!!!

He need an intervention, if you could just convince him to go to rehabilitation center for his own sake that will be the first step to recovery.. Pray without ceasing for in due time God will answer your prayer. Hope in the Lord for anyone who puts their trust in Him will never be ashamed.

I will pray for you and the man that has lost track of his life and your baby, asking God to take away the desire for him to do drugs any longer. Blessings Sister,

I'll pray for you right after I post this dear. And hey, I really think God wants me to tell you to "Be still and know that He is God."

You take care of yourself and your baby and know that God has your baby's father in His care, even if it means that he has to be allowed to struggle and hit the bottom of bottom.

Trust in God and know that He will never leave you. Read the Psalms hon and try to be comforted. God wants to comfort you.
