Am in college its my 2nd year in there..I started to hang out with a group og guys and gurls there..its about 8 ppl in that group..I liked one guy in that group i really liked him and i would say i loved him..i told him how i felt about him but then i said..i just wanna be ur friend so this way I wont lose u ..he said oh i thought u wanted to go further on this..so i said (no i dont)..so when the new acadamic year started...the whole group knew about the story but they turned out to say things about me behind of my back..they started saying i was chasing that guy to go out with him..he has changed..he smailes at me when he is around his friends and plays with my cheecks and hold my hands and stuff and right after that he ignores me..im more like what the hell??
how to deal with this rumor and also how to do deal with that guy!!

when i told that guy about the things i heard about us he was like..sure you'll hear ppl talk about us...ppl talk u cant stop them but u should ignore them!!

i didnt play him..i was afraid to lose him i know it sounds stupid and childish but i just didnt want to be his gurl..and at the same time i wanted to tell him how i feel about him so he wont be shocked if he heard it from sum1 else

I don't think any of it makes sense. Why would you say you like him and then take it back? perhspas he is playing games with you like you did with him? Well in wanting to no lose him and and PLAYING games you have obviously lost him, so I really don't think you have anyone to blame other than yourself. By the way, it sounds BEYOND childish.

Find new friends. Real friends do not talk about you behind your back.
Also, start dating someone else, even just casually (I don't mean jump into bed, but find another guy to go out with). That will send the whole group the message that you are not chasing that guy.
You really shouldn't have told him how you feel and not given him the chance to answer you (it sounds like you said "I just want to be your friend so I won't lose you" to protect yourself because you thought he would reject you, right?)
Anyway, the whole thing is beyond your control. If that guy was worth anything he's tell his "friends" to shut the f*ck up about it. He's making a joke of you, and that's disgusting. How could you continue feeling like or love for someone like that?

If he's ditching you because of the rumors, I would ditch him. He should want to be around you all the time, no matter WHAT people are saying about you. You should find a guy who will stand by you all the time, and not let some stupid rumor ruin the relationship. If everyone in your group is still rumoring, they need to learn that this is college, not freaking high school, and rumors are for high schoolers. Tell them to grow up and get a life, because obviously theirs isn't entertaining enough if they have to resort to rumoring about one of their friends. Just realize whats good for you, dear.

Don't encourage this guy. If he is playing along one minute and ignoring you the next, he's playing you or doesn't want anyone to know that he likes you. Either way, it's a waste of your time. As far as the rumors, tell them the whole story as far as you saying you just wanted to be friends. It is very possible that they have gotten only part of the story, namly the you loving him part. Next time he wants to be playful and flirty, turn him down. Tell him you are just friends. If he cannot accept that he isn't worth your time.

i had some rumors go around about me and a guy but then they were not true so we talked about it and now we r together because to find out he really like me so we have been together for about 2 months and we r still happy!!! but the rumor made him mad and it was his best friend that said it so they r not talking no more so maybe u should go to him and ask him to be your boyfriend and then maybe the rumors will stop because u guys r together!!??
