Unless you really want to get fired, and have to go through the hassle of finding a new job, then do not tell him. Just try to hold your feelings in, until a more appropriate time.

is he worth the risk of leaving the job for? do you think he's do the same for you? if so, meet outside work, don't let on anything during work hours, if you get caught out, the risk comes in, if you've already made that decision, then the risk is no problem.

NO harm in looking for another job in the meantime, just in case

As long as one of you isn't the boss of the other . . . go for it. You might want to consider talking to a local employment lawyer. I don't think they can stop you. Had a couple I worked with years ago. Same situation. They dated though it drove the powers nuts. Couldn't touch them.

my best advice is to forget about him. your company has rules against fraternization for a number of reasons. a big one, no doubt, is the distraction it causes on the job. he may find your feelings as a form of sexual harrassment-stranger things have happened. find another guy who doesn't work where you do.

so your lazy to look for love elsewhere huh ?
you simply have no confidence that outside of work you can't find someone.. so you go for what you know... and that is someone who will not challange, judge ect.. who you are...it's easy and the lazy way to a relationship, and most of the time office romances never work.. for that very reason....and once it fails then it becomes very akward..

Work places have policies about such things for a reason. Maybe wait until one of you is working somewhere else.

1. Quit your job
2. Live with your "feelings" and do nothing
Your choice. I can't tell you how to indulge yourself, break the rules and risk your job. Pick one.
