yes, the Marilyn Monroe hurts. I had my lip pierced twice and it's a struggle to keep it clean. You have to gargle with mouthwash after EVERYtime you eat, drink or smoke. You'll get lil crusties on the skin surface of your piercing while it heals. Your lip will be swollen for a few days and you have to not play with it. I know it's hard not to play with a new piercing, but it will heal much faster that way. :-)

I didn't hurt me...It felt like a little pinch. To tell you the truth I thought it was gonna hurt so bad. I went to my piercer expecting it to hurt likte a biatch and I was like thats it.....when I started cleaning it....it didn't hurt that bad either.

Lips are supposed to form a seal. You should not get your mouth pierced anywhere!

yes it'll hurt. and you have to keep it very clean...lots of scope! or you'll get a horrible infection!
