In the Bible it says that Eve had three sons. Her first son Cain killed his little brother Able. After Able she had Seth. Then it says Cain and Seth left Adam and Eve, and married women and had children. How is this possible if Adam and Eve were the first two people?

The bible does say that Adam and Eve had three sons. but it also says that they went on to have many sons and daughters. Cain did kill his brother, but you make it sound like his was little when he was killed. I'm sure they were grown men when the killing took place. Cain and Seth both married either sisters or nieces or cousins of some sort. Eve after all was the mother of everyone living, that how she got her name.

Adam and Eve had other children. The Bible simply doesn't speak of them because they hold no importance in the outcome of things.

Cain and Seth would have to have sex with their mother to procreate. I think it's probably just an ancient story. Incest had to have gone on in the beginning of time though. If there was only one family to start with, there was definitely some hanky panky going on...)(

Read beyond the first few verses. Why is it that people seem so quick to suppose the Bible is a collection of lies? Rather, expect it to be TRUE; they try to find why your understanding is wrong.

Yes, ASK how these things can be; but why be so quick as to suppose it is "lies"?

You will find that they had "sons and daughters".

If you check Flavius Josephus you will find Jewish tradition says they had 33 sons and 23 daughters

I don't think it's a lie as much as it is symbolic. Much of the symbolism reflects a turning away from the old Earth Goddess ways.

Adam and Eve and Eden are no more a lie than Peter Pan and Neverland is.

It's very possible, because the first two had others too.

So..then you're saying if you don't understand something, it can't be true?

I don't know where those other people came from. The bible doesn't say.
