St. Pierre has Bad Intentions
Canadian Press

Mixed martial arts fighter Georges St. Pierre is getting his title shot. Again.

The Montreal welterweight will meet UFC champion Matt Hughes on Nov. 18 at UFC 65: Bad Intentions in Sacramento, Calif. St. Pierre was to have fought Hughes at UFC 63 on Sept. 23

It's posted on UFC now as well. Oh and Silvia is fighting Monson for the heavy weight title

Common the first time they met GSP was beating him until Hughs got a lucky break and Geroge left an arm open while transitioning to another position. Plus George has already beaten BJ Penn and every other fighter in the UFC that he has faced.

Phillip. You wouldn't be looking for 10 points would you...?lol

Well it's a tie so far between Phillip, Nick C and Summer. I don't want to leave it to a vote cause someone ussually just votes for their own answer and that's who wins.
So I'm gonna pick a winner tomorow night between you three.
Unless someone else says somthing beeter though I doubt they can...

St. Pierre is a phenomenal fighter. His only loss was to Hughes 2 years ago, he has developed alot since. GSP is a world class fighter and I think he will be the welterweight champ.

Monson will get CLOBBERED by Sylvia. Sylvia has learned alot since Mir, and hes the Champ now. Sylvia has been working takedown defense ALOT, and I wouldn't be surprised if he was working submission defense too. Plus, at 6'8" hes got MAJOR reach, and when monson tries to get inside, Sylvia is going to find a hole and drop him to the canvas with a punch. Am I a big fan of Sylvia? No, I like Arlovski much better, but Monson isn't going to take the belt.

I'll take the 10 points, but what I really want is something to upset the welterweight division. Matt has been reigning too long. I'm not a big g'n'p fan, I think it can make for a slow, boring fight with much stalling. (GSP uses g'n'p but he's got a good submission game too) I was routing for BJ to beat Hughes as well. I though BJ made Hughes look like an amateur for 2 rounds I was really disappointed in the third. (I think BJ has alot of raw talent, maybe more than anyone else, but he's not too disciplined)

This is so hard to answer because as an American and a UFC fan of course I would say I would want the UFC champ from America to win but this will be no easy fight and I do not have a favorite in this one. All I know is it will be a war
and I cant wait to watch it!
GSP was winning that first fight so I hope he has worked hard
on arm bar defenses that would be awful if this fight ended the same as last one.

It's going to be one of the best fights of 2006 and at the end of the night Matt will still be champ, but GSP is going to give him a tough fight. I think Matt's going to win by tap out or TKO in the third or fourth round.

Also at UFC 65 Monson will beat Sylvia by submission.

YOU FOOLS ... GEORGES ST. PIERRE(GSP) WILL KNOCK MATT HUGHES OUT... GSP and Matt are matched pretty evenly on everything except striking.. GSP is lightyears ahead of Matt Hughes. As for monson vs Silvia.... Classic striker verses grappler match....Monson will submit Silvia 1st round, Just look at how Silvia defends armbars against Frank Mir...( Mir broke Silvia's arm in two places)...

YES! GSP was dominating Hughes in their last fight but got sloppy. But all in all GSP is a better all around fighter than Hughes. We don't have to worry about GSP gassing like Penn did either, his cardio is awesome!

I hope St. Pierre wins I want to see Hughes cry like he did when he lost to DJ Penn the first time. lol

BJ Penn was a tough one for Hughes because of his amazing flexibility, GSP although a good fighter in his own right is just not Hughes equal. Matt will slam and ground and pound him. His reign isn't over yet.
