Okay so my ex txted me tonight to see whats up.. well we txted back like a couple times I asked whats up with him he told me and all of a sudden he said "so is there a new guy in your life yet?"
any ideas what he's trying to get at?
I'm just curious what y'all think!
it's not that I necessarily want him back, I just want to know your opinions, you know?

I think he wants to see if your still available---might make him feel superior if he is with some other lady!

There are a few different possibilities for why he asked you that question but I'm going to give you the main reasons:
1) He may want to get back together with you.
2) He's being nosey to see who the guy is that replaced him if you already have made that step.

i think that either this guy is just curious...if you say yes he'll probably be jealous and if you say no he might approach you and try to get you back. But it depends on what you do. I think the best thing to do is ask why and then give him answer based on his tone of speech.

Its really simple
he was asking "so is there a new guy in your life yet?"
You would then answer with a yes or a no.

oh yeah hes curious too...he's checking up on you hoping you dont have anyone else. Kinda like keeping you in reserve but dont take him! there must be a reason why you guys became x's and if it was his fault he's learning his lesson on how he regrets it
