I am uninsured and already know dental work is outrageous but want to know a ballpark estimate to brace myself beforehand.

Well, joining the military is not an option for me due to health and other circumstances. As far as pain...I will do what I have to do for better health in the long run. (I have had children without pain medication so maybe I can take the dentist pain:(!

It depends on the position of the teeth. It also depends on whether or not you want to be put to sleep.

A "normal" wisdom tooth extraction can start at about $150 and go up to maybe $400 or so, if it's really bad. Multiply by two. Add $400-500 for general anesthesia, if you want it. MOST of the time, in my office, two wisdom teeth would cost about $400.

I don't know the exact price but i know it is in the thousands. But I do know a way to get it done for free. You can join the military. If you don't want to be on active duty you can check on national guard or reserve. While you are on active duty getting your basic training you can go to the dental clinic and tell them you are having problems with your wisdom teeth. They will remove them all and fix any other dental problems you have. Also don't forget about the $20,000 enlistment bonus for the National Guard and Reserve. Well hope this help and good luck they will hurt like hell for a couple weeks.

the finished quantity my oral well-being practitioner billed for all 4 (plus the consultation, anesthetic, aftercare, etc...) replaced into approximately $1200. My insurance coated it so i did not look for somebody extra decrease priced, only took my dentist's advice. Mine went particularly properly whether 2 have been partly impacted by making use of bone and required some bone to be bumped off. I stored icepacks on for somewhat some the 1st day and only took Advil for the discomfort, which replaced into minimum. using ice, I had minimum swelling. The stitches got here out on their very own after a week or so, however the incision sites nevertheless felt a sprint mushy for awhile. i might say carry on with your well-being practitioner's aftercare training heavily and you ought to be completely healed in a week or 2.

Free if you're willing to affix a "dental noose" to the offending teeth :-)

Ok, all joking aside, it will be in thousands of dollars, my guess is around $2500. If you live around a dental school, you might be able to "volunteer" for the procedure. the drawback is that you may have to forfeit any malpractice liability as they are students. Hope this helps and good luck. I am not entirely sure, but it seemed like a reasonable answer.
