Depends on your needs:

Blackberry for work. Nothing beats the ease of capturing my emails from the office.

Personally, I prefer palm based products for personal use. My last PDA was a TREO. Before that, I had Handspring products. I loved them all. Easy to use and many different applications available.

Currently, I only carry a Blackberry, as it's too cumbersome to carry a personal PDA. Blackberry is not as flexible as my palm based gadgets. But I can wirelessly sync my emails, contacts, calendar to my desktop, so my work life is much easier.

Try T-Mobile MDA. Runs Windows Mobile 5 (pocket PC). I have my low-volume email accounts on it, as well as sharing all my office files. Got a 2Gb expansion card (mini SD), and even found a 3270 emulator for working on the mainframe.

Really flexible tool.
