Yes I taught my ex husband to french braid, so he could help me with our three daughters.
It's a fast, neat hairdo when mom's not around.
He was very masculine and macho, but when it came to his family and girls he was willing to show his gentler more feminine side. A sign of a man who is confident in himself and loves his family.
We were married 30 years and I have many fond memories of him and the good years.

I don't know any straight men with that ability.
Maybe a bf could figure out how to braid, but that's highly unlikely also.
You should have him try an English braid, also known as fish bone. Like french braiding but done in the opposite direction...

I've tried a couple of times. It's hard. Here would be a weirder question. Have any guys ever had their hair French braided by another guy? I have and I am not gay!

Funny you should ask! I asked my husband to braid my hair this morning because it is long and always comes out crooked when I do it. Well he did and it came out looking retarded so then I felt bad when I took it out!
