I have never cut my hair. Never worn anything other than long skirts/dresses, Longish sleeved shirts, split skirts, etc. I have never drank, never smoked, never done drugs. I do not swear, I have always believed in abstinace before marriage, I do not own a T.V., and I did not become a Christian until 4 years ago... Yet some persist in thinking that because I attend a pentecostal church I am a legalist... Why?

These are not restrictions that I have necessarily placed on myself, but a part of my culture. I abided in them as a child because they were part of who I was then. I abide in them now because they are what makes me who I am today.

because you're different. People tend to label other people who have extreme lifestyles. I understand you though because I was a Charismatic before and I have seen them follow the restrictions you have imposed on yourself. I think it's because of faith, belief, love of God or pleasing God.. ??
