How is this a painting question? I guess it's that whole tortured artist thing (hey, it worked for Van Gogh!)
I'm lucky that I do have a chance with someone I love (a very good chance, in fact he told me he loves me) but there were certainly times when I felt I was in love & it wasn't returned. Unrequited love is a painful experience. But you will get over her eventually. If she doesn't love you, then she's not the one & someone else is. You will encounter many counterfeits before the real thing. Don't be fooled.

That is a real tough one. If that is what is happening to you, I am so sorry. I would suggest that you talk it over with a good friend. Get your feelings out. Then I would pray to God about it. THEN, I would get myself involved in worthwhile pursuits. One of the best I can think of is to volunteer to help someone. Do a favor for someone,or volunteer work...maybe help an elderly person that you know with a chore or two or many. It's very difficult to feel bad when you are doing SUCH good for someone else. The icing on the cake is that it is also a gift for YOU!! Good luck, friend.

A crush maybe, but not love. In poetry and literature it's called "unrequited love", but I don't think it's possible to love someone that is beyond chance of returning your feelings.

You know you have no chance at all
Even though you gave your 100% and more.
Love got to be 2-way
One give and the other must receive.
Now that you know,
Save your love for someone elsewhere
For I'm sure out there
There's someone who cares
;-)

MOVE ON! The only way to get past this is to keep reminding yourself that your feelings are NOT returned in the same way. Over time this "love" will become a faint yet pleasant memory because you will meet someone who returns your love.

Love them any ways, expect them to be my best friend if they can and will be and just love them any ways, I will try not to make it an issue with them even though some times I know that I still will, because love just is, but I will love the one I'm with too and that will be different. There are all kinds of reasons besides your not hot that two people can't ever really be together, so just let it be what it can be and try to be happy if you can.

All I can suggest, from my own personal experiences, is that sometimes the person you want isn't the person you really need. You may be blessed in a way because this may free your soul and heart up to find the person you need. And she will need you in her life equally.

if a person is not willing to give you any (!) chance, that person is not worth loving. Find somebody who will be more appreciative of your feelings.
