they are both good for you but if you have to much of either one it can be bad for you. water is something you need to have everyday at least 8 times, powerade or Gatorade are important because if you run or exercise a lot the salt in your body and all release and you may die without salt in your body and powerade and Gatorade have a lot of salt in them. So basically you need them both.

WATER! Absolutely! At least 8 glasses a day. Powerade is not good for you. Don't be taken in by the clever marketing. The results will come out soon enough and all those sports drinks will fade away. NEVER, NEVER drink soda pop.

Wow...really? It all depends on what you are doing. You always need water and in most cases it is superior over powerade/gatorade. However if you are a serious athlete and train for more than 4 hours a day (hard training with real sweat!) then a beverage with electrolytes should be taken along with the water. (this also applies if you work somewhere that you are out in the sun doing hard labor for more than 4 hours each day, but water is usually suffiecent for the average worker.) hope this helps

Water is the healthier choice. Water is nature made,and powerade is a man made sports drink.

water is better for you for everyday. if you're working out and need to get hydrated then powerade. but never drink sports drink when you're not working out. it will actually dehydrate you.

They are both good for you for rehydrating your body fluids.I would choose powerade everytime.

Better for what? Just hydrating, Water.

Powerade, like other "sports drinks", has a bunch of sugar in it.
