Far too many. And then we can count all the cultural history they have wiped out in the lands and people they have conquered/saved!

I think I would have to say no. I would go on to say that mankind will never learn until they are rid from the planet. It is the animosity that powers a human's desire for destruction. From the dawn of man, man has thrived from destruction and power. That is the only thing mankind can be good at. We will never overcome this task for a simple reason. When a human being comes out and says that they will not kill or harm anyone, people look down on them as being weak and they rid them from this world. They are weeded out as inferior. That is why we will never grow to overcome this horrible curse, and that is why we will eventually kill ourselves.

You could also add "oppressed" to "butchered" in your question...
And no, mankind probably won't. It's not the average populace that's bloodthirst, mad, and power hungry... It's the zealots who take it too seriously.

I wish I could tell you. But as long as people listen to crazy crack pot hate mongers who only preach for their own gains (that is their own presonal gain, because they don't really believe in what they preach.) millions most likely. Most of the world will stay in a state of hate because of it.

Only two things matter. Christianity and those beliefs(including yours) which are not Christianity. The latter is responsible for more deaths. It is your refusal to be honest even with yourself which keeps you from seeing this.
