The UPCI holds that salvation is accomplished by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, and not by works (Titus 3:5). The UPCI teaches a code of conduct based upon what it believes to be scriptural teaching, although detractors allege that many of these beliefs are mandated by church officials. The UPCI professes holiness standards as a privilege and that obedience to those standards is for the benefit of the individual. This includes beliefs that women should not cut their hair and should wear dresses or skirts, not pants, according to a scriptural mandate to "Not wear that which pertaineth to a man" (Deuteronomy 22:5) and "adorn [yourself] in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety" (1 Timothy 2:8-10). Men and women alike are discouraged from wearing jewelry, scripturally "gold, or pearls, or costly array" (1 Timothy 2:8-10).

because people do not know what they are talking about. They make snap decisions based upon what they think should be true instead of what is.

That's how society works; they suggest that you MUST do certain things.

Salvation comes from being a good person. Such as do here as you would do there or they don't want you in that neighborhood.

There are so many lies in this world that people should be dealing with spirituality; that is taking the things you learn and matching them with the things your spirit feels are good and of truth to build a way of life for yourself.

The thing with possessions is that you should not love anything of life. That is true cause it's all about giving it all back; including the body. LOVE NOTHING; only appreciate things and people; some more than others. But we get attached to things and people, so it's better not to have them or be with them.

If your salvation is based entirely on faith, then why bother with a code of conduct? Think about it
