ok I'm wondering when a religious question is asked and u get a lot of answers,and maybe a couple will be from atheist why do they quote from the bible if they don't believe???

Because a good debater knows both sides of the argument. Even satan knows the bible, and misquoted it to Jesus, remember?

The Bible is a source of literature that has a profound influence on many people. Athiests perhaps might quote the Bible thinking that if you are a believer you might believe the Bible if you didn't believe them.

Of course no one (and I mean NO ONE) believes everything in the Bible, including fundamentalists. They just think they do. They select the parts they want to believe and ignore the rest. Why? Because the Bible often contradicts itself, it is a simple disply of ignorance, bigotry, and it definitely can be improved upon by humanity.

They quote the bible to point out things in the bible that make it unbelievable. They also point out what a christian asker may not be following.

I think they quote it because they want to still know the bible but they want to keep their religious alive with them

Imagine you are arguing with someone about communism and they misquote Karl Marx to make their point look stronger. Is it hypocritical or bizarre for me to point out sentences from "The Communist Manifesto" that show the person's hypocrisy or ignorance?

usually to point out hypocrisies and the ridiculous claims.

most nonbelievers i know,what they do understand in the bible is what they cannot believe.

They have a religious spirit. Religious spirits can quote scripture.
