Has he been tested for sleep apnea? Breath rite strips may help too. Try rolling him over when he snores it stops my husband from snoring sometimes long enough for me to get to sleep. Sucks doesn't it?

Husband Snoring?

My husband could make the walls rattle. When I would wake him and tell him to stop he would get all weepy and ask how come I don't love him. Last year he went for a sleep test and got on a CPAP machine.

WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!! the machine is quite, the husband does not snore. I can sleep. I think this machine has saved our marriage because I was at the end of my rope. If I didn't go to bed first and fall asleep first I could not get a good sleep.

Have him tested. It is worth it.

My husband snores. It doesn't bother me... actually, I have a hard time sleeping when he doesn't "seranade" me to sleep!

I have found, though, that when he changes position, he tends to take a break from the snoring. Maybe nudging your husband or actually, carefully (so you don't wake the bear!) rolling him onto his side might help ease his snoring enough so you can get to sleep. My husband tends to hardly snore at all when he's on his side.

My husband's snoring is more a result of asthma and swollen air passages rather than sleep apnea. When he takes his asthma meds at night, the level of snoring is reduced.

Good luck.

I hear ya...cracks on the ceiling, pictures rattling on the walls.

Then he says he doesn't snore! The dentist says you must snore really loud, the people at the sleep study say, you are one of the loudest we have heard.

Waiting for his doctor to get the report.

Have him go for a sleep study. Breathe right strips do nothing. Go sleep in another room on another floor is necessary. I have spent many nights on the couch or in the recliner.

Try sleeping in a position where you are up against him. That's what I have found works when my husband starts snoring. If not just gently roll him over onto his side or tell him to roll over.

If he's on his back, tell him he's snoring and to sleep on his side. After that, fix up the spare bed or the couch, that's where my wife goes when I start snoring. It sucks.
