My Grandmother lives in Florida. She came into town on Friday night. The original plan was for my grandmother to say with my mom and I. My aunt was going to pick her up, and then bring her over to our house to stay.
It was getting late, after nine oclock and my mom and i hadn't heard anything from my aunt or my grandmother. We called and called and it rang and rang, still no one answered. Finally, my aunt answered the phone and says "oh sorry. change of plans, mom is staying here tonight and tommorow."We were looking forward to seeing her, and had cleaned and prepared all day.
Is it me or is that so RUDE to change plans, not call, or anything at the last minute? Is my mom in the wrong for being angry?
I think it was so rude and inconsiderate.
We need a third parties opinion.
Rude or Not Rude?

Yes to being rude that she didn't call. Sorry isn't enough--why didn't she call. Your time is important also. You need to explain this to your aunt AFTER grandma leaves and tell your aunt how this hurt your feelings that she changed plans without communicating to you. Maybe this would have been an ok arrangement if only she would have talked to you before hand. Try to keep anger away!

It was rude not to call, they should of call and let you know that your grandmother was staying at your aunts.
When you haven't see sameone for so long you get happy that they are there and just want to spend time with them, that's what maybe happed with your aunte so was happy to see her mom and wnated to spend time with her. How long is your gran in town maybe for the rest of her stay she will be staying with you guys?

It was rude not to call, but people always change there minds. It's just part of life

I would be hopping mad. It is rude not to tell you guys. But, what else could you do??? Just treat what you did an early spring cleaning for your home. Could also ask why the sudden change of plans.

Yes,it was rude and you need to let both your aunt and your grandmother know how you feel! Don't keep it in, it will only make you feel worse if you don't tell them!

He were to work out a customer, a Mr M Hunt yet he did no longer know what his first call replace into. The receptionist on the place of work greeted our rep and then began to objective to hint down Mr Hunt. It replace into in easy terms whilst she called to a colleague "has all of us seen Mike Hunt?" that our rep lost it thoroughly!
